Student’s t-test and analysis of variance were used to analyze differences between groups in continuous variables. Comparison of categorical variables was made by means of chi-square test. All analyses were two-tailed. Sensitivity, specificity, and negative and positive predictive accuracy for APT and SPT results were calculated. Spearman’s correlation analysis was used to evaluate correlation between OFCs and ages of patients. The statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 15.0 version (IBM, Milano, Italy).
