Eighty randomly selected female patients aged 45–65 were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to treatment groups by drawing a sealed envelope:an envelope with an even number meant PNF treatment and an odd number indicated manual therapy.Patients participating in the study knew only at the start of the therapy that they would receive physiotherapy. They did not know at the beginning the exact method used in their case. The researcher responsible for monitoring the research outcomes, measuring at T0, T1 and T2 was unaware of patient allocation.
