The Spark Direct-Reading Spectrometer is an apparatus to measure the intensity of the spectral line by photomultiplier and other optical detectors in different wavelength positions. It is configured by an entrance slit, a dispersion system, an imaging system and one or more exit slit(s).
Dispersive element is used to segregate the electromagnetic radiation of the radiation source to the desired wavelength or wavelength region, and measure intensity on a selected wavelength (or scan a band).
