Plants were exposed to VOCs emitted from either WT (VOCwt) or NtOS2 (VOCos) tobacco plants for 3 days in an open-flow tunnel. The number of eggs laid by T. urticae on the leaf section of lima beans or M. separata larval weight gained on maize plants was determined every 3 days after the end of exposure.
