The Fellowship will provide funding support for 5 people with limited access to professional development opportunities, yet have the potential to be the trainer of future advanced training program, to acquire skills at overseas non-for-profit aging service organizations for 1-2 months. Once a fellow completes the overseas study, he or she is required to conduct a training program and to deliver a 3-month care improvement pilot project to better the lives of seniors in their home and communities. For example, the trainee will better assess seniors’ care needs and coordinate with various professionals to deliver integrated care for seniors to age at home.
