Ignore Unexpected Visitors
From time to time, there may be visits from door-to-door salesmen in addition to Government Officials trying to obtain subscription fees for the National Broadcaster (as chronicled in the highly recommended Haruki Murakami trilogy of novels 1Q84). We recommend ignoring unexpected guests who are unlikely to speak any languages other than Japanese, unless you are expecting a delivery. If we need to drop by for any reason, we will ensure that we are in touch beforehand.
