5. Personally I will take Option 2. However, this will create two problems
1. the screws will not be long enough in some locations. Our screws is only 6x50mm. At level 107mm, the screw will only be 12mm embedded. We need some longer 6mm SS screws. Can you source some 6mm x 75+mm SS screws?
2. Spacers – if we want the top of the L-panel to level, we need some spacers. Usually we use SS washers as spacers. However, we need a lot now for the 240 levelling holes (3 level spots per panel), plus maybe some SS nuts to space some high discrepancy locations. Can you source it? We will not use spacers on every holes but about 3- holes per 1.8m. You will need to fill the gap underneath the L-panel with high strength repair mortar such as SikaGrout 214. After that we will finish all the wall plugs.
3. M10 Mechanical Anchors – you need to investigate the current level of the gutter side and determine the length of the M10 anchors. If they are making smooth by filling up (plus the new +15mm), then the shipped M10 will not reach the actual concrete! So, please take a preliminary measurement before they smooth this side for us. We need 50 units of M10 with the right length that can reach the concrete. Current M10 is 40mm (please check our drawing).
6. Straightness – For the straightness of the wall, I already assume they are reasonably smooth, as I don’t want to use spacers to adjust the straightness of the 3 skimmer sides. I can adjust a bit the overflow side. Please also check now and see if the main contractor needs to make any adjustment now, as it will affect the final outlook if the concrete is really not straight.
Thank you very much and looking forward to your comments next week.
