Soil is the eroded object, and soil erodibility represents both the susceptibility of soil to erosion and the amount and rate of runoff, as measured under standard plot conditions (Parysow et al., 2003).
The Kfactor is related to soil texture, organic matter content permeability, and other factors and is basically derived from the soil type (Wischmeier et al., 1971). In this study, the soil erodibility factor was determined using the following EPIC equation (Williams et al., 1984):
