A major conclusion is that there appears to be a substantial relation between Big Five personality and prejudice, at least when examining the relationship using a variable-centred approach. Evidently, our results need to be replicated, especially taking into account the relatively small sample size, which was, however, compensated for by the double cross-validation procedure and the similar outcome in the two sub-samples. A further extension of our study would be to analyse the Big Five factors on a facet level rather than the higher order level we preferred in the present case.
