The Marquesses of Bath’s Longleat is an English country house, noted for its Elizabethan country house, one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture in Britain, maze, landscaped parkland and safari park. The house is set in over 364 ha of parkland, with 32.37 km2 of woods and farmland. It was the first stately home to open to the public, and also claims the first safari park outside Africa. Located near the village of Horningsham and near the towns of Warminster in Wiltshire and Frome in Somerset.
