Unloading of butadiene was done next to LCY personnel that were erecting a scaffold with normal hand tools and battery powered srewing machine. The scaffold appeared to be made from normal galvanized iron. Since Butadiene is explosive, it is expected from the audit team that the scaffold is made from materials unable to create any sparks and the tools used to be explosion proof.Additionally, opposite the driveway of the unloading place was a very old compressor covered with an old blanket - audit team expects to provide some kind of explosion proofing. It is expected that any kind of machinery close to an unloading place for explosive materials like oil, styrene and butadiene to be either removed to a safe place or explosion proof.
